U-14 Girls State Tournament Returns to Reedsburg in 2012

Reedsburg has been chosen to host the U-14 Girls WAHA State Tournament in March 2012. Once again, Reedsburg Youth Hockey has been chosen to host a WAHA (Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association) State Tournament.

This is a positive reflection on the great indviduals who have taken on the tasks of being the "Tournament Director", when Reedsburg has been chosen in the past.  Our tournament directors, with help from families at all age levels in the Reedsburg Hockey Association, helped the experience be memorable for the players,  coaches and fans of the teams fortunate to make it to the "Final Eight".  The Reedsburg community has helped make the people feel welcome in town and show them what "small town hospitality" is all about.

However, what is even more exciting is knowing that the young ladies participating on the FREEZE U-14 Girls hockey team during the 2011-12 hockey season will be playing in that tournament.  This is a great opportunity for new players to come and join the Freeze as they use this season and next to prepare to play in the state tournament on their home ice.
